Adult Chess Class: Beginners II

Instruction is provided by National Master Ian Harris.  This class is designed for the casual chess playing adult that is interested in learning strategy and nuances of the game.  Whether you play for fun with friends, online or if you are a parent of a chess player and are looking to remain competitive with them, this is the class for you.  The course focuses on strategy including forming a plan, anticipating your opponent's moves, attacking, defending and more!

Classes will take place on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00pm starting on April 14th.  

8 Classes (4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 5/26, 6/2)

Open to adults only.  Recommended for players rated up to 800 (USCF) or who have completed an earlier RedBandit Chess course.

Following each class, participants will receive a print out version of the class in both PGN and PDF formats along with follow up exercises.  Limit of 12 participants.…
