Adult Chess Class: Novice

Instruction is provided by National Master Ian Harris.  This class is designed for the casual chess playing adult that is interested in learning strategy and nuances of the game.  Go beyond the basics!  Whether you play for fun with friends, online or if you are a parent of a chess player and are looking to remain competitive with them, this is the class for you.  Topics will include choosing an opening/building a repertoire, strategy and planning during the middlegame, review of important endgames, along with general advice and tips for improvement.  

Classes will take place on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00pm starting on January 6th.

6 Classes (1/6, 1/13, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10)

Open to adults only.  Recommended for players unrated and up to 600 (USCF).

Following each class, participants will receive a print out version of the class in both PGN and PDF formats along with follow up exercises.  Limit…
