Introduction To Chess

Instruction is provided by National Master Ian Harris.  All classes are designed to be interactive with students able suggest moves and move the pieces on the board.    

Participants will review the rules of chess, checkmating patterns and basic strategy for each part of the game including opening, middlegame and endgame.  

Classes will take place on Tuesdays from 4:00pm - 4:45pm EST starting on April 13th

6 Classes (4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18)

Open to grades 1 - 6

Limit of 10 participants.  Registration Deadline: April 11th

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be issued for anyone that cancels at least two days ahead of time.  If cancelling less than two days ahead of time the purchase price can be applied to any future event.  

By registering for this event, you give permission for images of the participant, captured during RedBandit Chess LLC programs  through video, photo and digital camera, to be used solely for the purposes of RedBandit Chess LLC promotional material and publications, and waive any rights of compensation or ownership thereto.
