Invitational Tournament & Game Analysis

This event features two separate sessions: 

Online Tournament: Wednesday 3/3, 7-9:00pm EST

Game Analysis: Wednesday 3/10, 7-8:00pm EST

Tournament Format:

4 Rounds played on Chess.com.  

Time Control: 15 minutes per player.  No delay or increment.

The tournament is estimated to be completed by approximately 9:00pm

Prize:

All participants will be entered into a random drawing to receive a free 1 hour private lesson with NM Ian Harris.  

Requirements:

All players will need to have a free chess.com account.  No prior experience using chess.com is necessary.  Participants will be sent instructions on how to access the tournament ahead of time.  A Zoom call will be available before and during the tournament to provide assistance to anyone that needs it.  Participants do not need to be in Zoom during their games.  

Notes:

Each participant will recieve one of their games returned to them with extensive analysis and recommendations by NM Ian Harris.  

Analysis Session:

Wednesday 3/10, 7:00-8:00pm 

Registration for this event ($25) includes entry to both the tournament and the analysis session one week later.  This will feature live analysis via Zoom of games selected by NM Harris.  Games will be chosen that have instructional moments that are relevant to the material covered in the classes.
