Novice Adult Chess Class

Instruction is provided by National Master Ian Harris.  This class is designed for the casual chess playing adult that is interested in learning strategy and nuances of the game.  Go beyond the basics!  Whether you play for fun with friends, online or if you are a parent of a chess player and are looking to remain competitive with them, this is the class for you.  Topics will include choosing an opening/building a repertoire, strategy and planning during the middlegame, review of important endgames, along with general advice and tips for improvement.  

Classes will take place on Thursdays from 7:00-8:00pm starting on October 15th.  

6 Classes (10/15, 10/22, 10/23, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19)

Open to adults only.

Following each class, participants will receive a print out version of the class in both PGN and PDF formats along with follow up exercises.  Limit of 12 participants.  Registration Deadline: October 14th

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be issued for anyone that cancels at least two days ahead of time.  If cancelling less than two days ahead of time the purchase price can be applied to any future event.
